At Fortify a Fighter, our team is made up of passionate leaders, medical professionals, and community advocates who share one mission: to strengthen and support Special Forces veterans and first responders through wellness and advanced training programs.
Ariel Rampey – President
Ariel Rampey currently serves as a Clinic Director for a large non-profit healthcare organization in San Diego, where she manages day-to-day operations and ensures the delivery of high-quality care across two primary care clinics. She brings extensive experience in healthcare administration, database management, and program oversight, having held a variety of leadership roles throughout her career.
As the spouse of an active-duty special operator, Ariel is deeply committed to supporting the health and wellness of service members, veterans, and their families.


Davin Garlick – Treasurer
Davin Garlick serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Westmark Credit Union, where he leads financial strategy, investment management, and compliance oversight. With a background as a CPA and extensive experience in accounting and financial planning, David brings both professional expertise and a passion for community service to his work.
Beyond his career, he is actively involved in local volunteer efforts, supporting initiatives that strengthen families, education, and community development.
Autumn Ellis – Secretary
Autumn Ellis is an experienced Office Manager and Billing and Coding Specialist with expertise in managing billing, claims, and administrative processes. She plays a key role in supporting both providers and patients by streamlining the billing process, maximizing revenue integrity, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Married to a veteran Marine sniper and Purple Heart recipient, Autumn has a deep, personal understanding of the toll that injuries and combat take on service members, the physical scars, the invisible wounds, and the lasting impact on both the individual and their family. Inspired by this experience, she is dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders, ensuring they have the resources, community, and care they need to heal, thrive, and continue living with purpose.


Dr. Josh Stringham, DO – Medical Advisor
Dr. Josh Stringham serves as the Chief Medical Director for Community Family Clinic. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Duke University.
Dedicated to his patients, Dr. Stringham is passionate about delivering holistic, preventative care that supports long-term health and well-being. He is also deeply committed to serving veterans and first responders, providing the care and healing they need to optimize their health.
Susannah “Annie” Hancock, FNP – Medical Advisor
Susannah “Annie” Hancock is the Founder and CEO of Fortify Optimal Health, where she practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
In addition, she completed a postgraduate certificate in Trauma Research from the Trauma Research Foundation. Annie founded Fortify Optimal Health to expand access to holistic and comprehensive care. She practices functional medicine and is dedicated to treating the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – through an integrative approach that emphasizes natural remedies, prevention, and lifestyle management.
